Hi Eric! By the time you read this you will have had your surgery. Happy Birthday! Welcome to our club of biggest losers!!! Glad you are on GastricSleeveForum.com You will find alot of support there! I was sleeved on June 22 of this year and have lost 40 pounds. What a lifestyle change it is! I was a true food addict and food was definately my bff! Not anymore. I was tired, as well, of my size and was concerned about my health. You won't regret your decision. Just don't base the first week after surgery on how you will feel later on. The first week will be tough but by day 7 you are going to feel so much better! Take it slow, take your pain meds, and get plenty of rest. Don't push yourself too hard and make sure you drink your fluids of nothing else. I'll be talking to you on GSF and by the way-what a great website you created! Very nice. Hope you get to feeling better soon! Darla Groves aka Kamorablue on gastric sleeve forum.
